Skincare Tag

Claire from Ms This N That Blog tagged me in the beauty blogger’s skincare tag. I thought it would be fun answering the questions and getting to know a bit more about other bloggers’ skin care preferences/routines.

Describe your skincare routine in five words…
simple, inconsistent (I don’t always use it lol), gentle, fresh, variety

What’s your skin type?
Combination- some parts are dry and some oily.

What’s your favourite skin care product?
Don’t know if you’d call it ‘skincare’ but Lush Snow Fairy body wash! love it soo much, but I am disappointed it’s only available at Christmas time (must stock up this year!)

Top Blemish Zapper?
Don’t know. I tend to try all different ones, but none of them have really stood out.

Face wipes, yay or nay?
Definitely yay! I always like to try different brands…so far my favourites are Australis 3 in 1 wipes and ModelsPrefer Matte Me 3 in 1 pore minimising wipes

Toner, yay or nay?
Used to use them, but I quickly learned that they didn’t really do anything for my skin or they sometimes dried it out.

High End Skincare or High End Makeup?
I don’t really buy much of either, but if I had to choose I’d say Makeup. High-end foundation has a better colour match for my skin! Almost every brand’s ‘ivory’ shade is still too dark for me or too yellow.

What’s the most unusual skincare product you’ve tried?
Haven’t really used anything unusual…

You’re in a French pharmacy and can only pick one item – what is it?
Caudalie Beauty elixir, it sounds like it would be amazing…unfortunately Caudalie is expensive and I don’t think it’s available in Australia any more.

Tell us your top skincare tip
Always use sunscreen to protect your skin from sun damage! You can’t reverse the effects of sun damage, but it’s never too late to prevent further damage!

Thanks Claire for tagging me!

I tag The Made Up Maiden, Sweetaholic Beauty and also anyone else, reading this who has a beauty blog and wants to join in!
