On Wednesday night I was seeing spots (literally), they were the spots on a very cute dalmatian puppy named Bolt, at the Melbourne launch of the Garnier Dark Spot Corrector… and also a BB cream for oily/combination skin, more about that later.
Garnier Dark Spot Corrector- Daily unifying mosturiser
Garnier’s Dark Spot corrector is the brand’s 1st daily moisturiser that visibly corrects dark spots, including age spots, sun spots and acne marks. With 5% pure vitamin C, it reduces pigmentation and evens out skin tone, while giving a brightening and illuminating effect.
Dark spots are a concern of woman of all ages, but that doesn’t mean that men can’t use it too! (not that they would admit using it).
What Garnier says…
At 20, acne scarring can create blemish marks.
At 20, 30, 40 or 50 hormonal changes can lead to dark spots.
Over time, repeated UV & sun exposure can cause sun spots and age spots.
I will be reviewing the Garnier dark spot corrector after trialing it for (at least) 4 weeks…so watch this space!

Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector for oily and combination skin
While the launch event was mainly focused on the dark spot corrector, we were also introduced to the BB cream Miracle skin perfector for oily and combination skin. I have ridiculously pale skin, so when I swatched the ‘light’ shade on the back of my hand and rubbed it in, it still looked way too orange/dark for my skin tone. However, in saying that I will try it on my face to see how it goes, obviously if it’s too dark I can’t use it.
Thank you to Louisa from brand meets blog and the Garnier team for having me at the launch! It was great to get some insight in to Garnier and their products. It was also lovely to meet everyone, including some fellow bloggers!
XO XO Evelyn
The dalmatian plush toys will be available in September as a special gift (when you purchase the dark spot corrector) at selected Garnier stockists. Keep an eye out!
